Event Suggestions

5 tracks for LPD I got. But I would like to drive the LPD event under dry conditions. Of course, you can choose these tracks for snow racing too. Offroad with snow is a huge fun too and something for the eyes

With fredo we have just got an interesting event idea :
How about a pack of races that would put lights on "uncommon used car", indeed i think there a lots of models available in these game, and so few used....
i think it would be cool to (re)discover theses cars and bring them back to life the time of a funny crew event, and who knows ? maybe few loving stories will come true

This could be also the opportunity to make a funny event with, well... less expected vehicules



So, and you, would you be into a hipster uncommon car event ?

I would suggest everyone to leave 1 of your 50 vehicle slots reserved for specific vehicle events, and on top of that keep it to low cost uncommon vehicles so can be easily acquired prior to these kind of events.  

I have another idea for an event, something a bit similar to the Banshee Event in some ways:
A middlefield sports event

Again multiple tracks, maybe about the same number and race lenght as in the Banshee Event.
Could make a contact event again, in which case I would take some tracks out of this playlist or new suggestions.
The interesting thing here again is the car choice. There are a lot of very good cars in the class that are just slightly behind the few top ones so for this event the top cars would be banned which gives us a quite large car pool to choose from.
To be more specific, here is Broughy's list with the laptimes from his testing. If we look at the sports class, take away the Jesters, Massacros, Elegy, Feltzer and maybe also the 9F, we have a lot of really cool and under-represented cars within about 2 seconds.

there are several tracks which are short rounds with plenty of drifting. but i dont know the names and i always forget to bookmark them to make such a playlist. maybe someone has already done that or could do that and maybe we could play the list as a "short and drifty-event".

This is a great idea, time to implement it for our next event. I am thinking about a max of 10 tracks / 3-4 laps each depending on the track distance, we could use Marvel's 30 player open official tracks, which should be edited for stock GTA IV-only cars. 
Is anybody interested?

Contact on is preferable and GTA IV stock vehicles only, V vehicles will be restricted. The starting grid could be a potential issue for contact on, perhaps we could do GTV8 short urban tracks with normal grids instead.  
 We will be alright as far as participants choose only IV vehicles, the event thread will be posted on monday as i will be back in my desktop PC after almost 4 months barely using a laptop .
