yes, it is impressive. We discussed the reasons for the low frequency of visiting the forum and the social club site before. Many players don't want to participate in online forums, so they don't even know about events. We also discussed to open the events to every player who wants to join. We also invite Ingame for events and inform about the regristration if there is one. I also think that events I participated were well visited, so the main purpose of our crew - driving events from time to time (if possible regularly) and daily gaiming in the personally preferred modes is achieved.
It is also important to know that GTV8 seems to be the origin of a whole structure of crews who correspond with us. Let's say ZARU for daily races, HPPU for Hunting Pack, DIGR for Sumo and other stuff.
But the origin of GTV8 was racing together in GTA IV. I would say that maybe 50% of the people who raced together in GTA IV are still playing together as GTV8. Others created their own crews or left GTA. So indeed the inner core of people who built and build GTV8 could be about 30 active persons? Maybe. There are other racers who began to race with us in GTA 5, but indeed not many of them found and find the way into the forum.
I personally also ask players who make tracks if they would make an event out of them, like RalleyMaster did. But so far the confidence of the players in their creations was not big enough.
So conclusion: we seem to be some hands full of friends, who survive together in front of computers - mainly. And the amount of persons who have the time and the energy to organize and coordinate regular events or to take action in binding new players is very limited. So if you ask me: With your insane Crew-Video you are clearly on the best way to climb up into the inner "active" circle of the GTV8 Crew. We are racing together, but exclusively. Awesome, extraordinary awesome job, Urik Kane!
Love , Grandpa
P.s.: Invitation goes to everyone to reffer to Urik's Post in the Feed above to explain more and to give this video-pro a hot welcome.

First of all, what an amazing video, urik! I like the idea for entertaining comments, it's very fresh. Never seen this before in the GTA area. I can imagine that with the amount of work you will not do at every race. But I can imagine this for some future events. The most creative spot was "Ploutchsky's" Airborne (Ploutch SKY ) and landing into the house. That clip in the house . The biggest problem in GTA Online, it is too big. Of course we got some amazing new modes, about which we could only dream before. I still remember about some Freemode actions in GTA4 (videos too, like the Destruction Derby, Sumo, Busted or Zombie Rush etc. from GTAmission) Now we have such a tons structured modes. The idea behind GTA Online was, "You don't need buy other games, because you have GTA Online!" They even copied some modes from other games like PUPG, Fortnite and other Stunt Racing games. And in the most adversary modes, Rockstar did a gread job, but some adversary modes, especially no vehicle modes are bullshit. But the overview is missing in GTA Online. There is no lobby, to look after modes I want at this time. And the votescreen after a game is getting from time to time a bigger and bigger bullshit. So many issues and strange things happend! Only invites, randoms joining or host your self and nobody comes in. Even in the Social Club Friend list I can't see, who is in which game and the most importent thing, how many players are in!? GTA 4 did this better. So, with no realtime conversation or meetings, the crew and friends are splitting in so much own game modes, some are full, but many of them stay empty The gamematching in GTA Online is a good idea to make the randoms lobbys full, but in my opinion we need a lobby overview too. In some modes, I don't want to play with randoms. And we need finally the official Cannonball/Freerace in GTA Online, which we enjoyed so much in GTA 4 and the creator of course. By the way, I'm thinking about a Grotti Event, since weeks before. Only Grotti Vehicle, but I'm not sure about it. Do players spend some millions of GTA $ for new Grotti vehicle just for an Event, or should we do this as a GTA Race and spawn the missed vehicles? But a random or a unknown bad guy, can destroy a GTA Race. On the other hand, the most racers here, should have enough money for this.

Thanks for detailed response grandpa4711 I'm kinda surprised there's not much activity in Discord, whereas generally it is the most popular way of communication these days for gamers / groups. I know one crew who extensively used reddit and then switched to discord. Of the franchise, I only played Vice City before, which was of course ages ago. My online gaming started around '09 with CoD multiplayer and L4D. Then I kinda had a hobby modding for L4D2 for a few years. Then I got quite involved playing Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Mod, and we even did have some racing thereThen I basically got lured into V:Online due to some of my JC2 friends & crew moving there, and also one older L4D2 friend playing it at some point. My original crew with which I transferred is focused around flying, though we pretty much became inactive and just playing random stuff since moving to GTAO. To this day, I still consider flying my best skill in the game, even though I just do it on my own now. Even though I did initially participate in all sorts of things, including freemode events and battles, I now completely went away from pvp and avoid any violence/confrontation unless it's a specific mode. As I was bored and looking for cool adventurous experiences, I joined GTA Cruises in... I guess around 2016, and have been several cruises with them over the years until crew's demise in late 2017. Joining those cruises still remains my best memories from the game, due to very good organisation and voice chat. Then I was bored the other day ( pretty much my permanent state in gta ) and randomly joined some race. Therealabiz ( and I think Levoy too ) were in it, and consecutively invited me to GTV8, that's how I ended up here. I heard for a long time from others about Nodo/Broughy, and was considering joining them after GTAC gone inactive, but what kept me off was I kinda thought they're nerdy/snobbish/too serious about it. GTV8 seemed like a more casual and variety oriented crew from very start ( although I did of course eventually learn there's a fair amount of curb riding and other stuff here as well ) Myself, I don't care too much about racing lines, curbs, vehicle stats and stuff like that; I like a good emotion and sense of adventure you get during the races or cruises ( for same reason, I strictly prefer contact ). I like cars that have character ( usually tail happy ), sometimes ones you have to fight or be cautious with; I'm usually not into "popular" cars that are chosen simply for their lap times. I also try my best do provide space or give way when I can. I myself never was much of hoster/leader but join stuff instead. While I don't participate as often as others, due to spending time with videos or my other own stuff, I like taking part when there's something substantial. I never know how active I'm gonna be, but I sure did enjoy my time here to the day! PS I think the message ended up being quite convoluted - I got kinda distracted by Discord halfway in, and it kinda goes through a lot of thoughts / topics in one post. edit: I noticed Rushki replied during the time I took to write this. Will read and reply in a separate post

I can imagine that with the amount of work you will not do at every race. But I can imagine this for some future events. Thank you! Certainly not for each race yes, but hopefully for all substantial events I am taking part in. This narrated format is pretty much a rip off / take on Grand Tour, in case it wasn't obvious. I kinda had this format in plans for years, ever since I was in the other crew, but it never saw the light due to my laziness/mood/whatever. With the Kerburator, I actually kinda rushed it because I wanted to try to get it done quick before people forget about this race. But a lot of preliminary work like logos, hud, and camera style has been actually initially developed for the (last September's) Rallye project which is kind of suspended for now due to new material and G&A. The most creative spot was "Ploutchsky's" Airborne (Ploutch SKY ) and landing into the house. That clip in the house . I actually never saw the "SKY" part of the joke until you brought it up! It actually pretty much what's caused the entire thing to happen. I was checking out what actually happened and then it evolved into an episode. The ( Michael's mansion ) interior was slightly pushing it since you can barely see the car between window curtains, but I didn't know of any other house with npc's I could use, and it kinda goes down to time/effort vs if it plays out with the joke. So, with no realtime conversation or meetings Do any of you ever use game voice? I haven't paid attention to that in years, I think my filter is set to none. But I'm surprised we don't use Discord for that more often. Only during G&A we had like maybe 25% of players there, that was the only time. With the Cruises crew I mentioned before, being (listening) in voice chat was a 100% requirement all the time, along with strict rules on behavior in session during event. When Grandpa attempted a meetup in (was it November?), I kinda tried to recreate something similar, and was left very disheartened by complete lack of conduct or ability to behave. Thus further solidifies it for me that voice chat is a must for things like that. I actually only recently was introduced to GTA trick. While I was momentarily annoyed wtf was happening, I quickly got used to it and I actually rather like it, the only downside being it's the same (color) cloned car, but what can you do. I did a bunch of races with some guys recently ( some of them consecutively joined GTV8 ), and it was fun. While I don't mind buying anything because I can, it allows other players to drive stuff they don't own. And it's contact on, which is like. I suppose the only downside is that players who drive someone else's car can't respawn which while making it more realistic, means they're screwed if they end up like Ploutchsky in that race. While I am a big advocate for tail happy and difficult vehicles, and I (sorry) don't care about Broughy and that flags controversy, I must admit, that he is right and it's a damn struggle to use that car ( even without pushing the limits ). Perhaps we can also use some other Grotti cars ( including classic ones ) for some races, they have a fine selection. Whatever you decide, in the end, I'm kinda fine with anything. While I initially felt quite against limiting selection to one model, Retinue races in Rallye event showed me that there is certain visual appeal to having everyone in the same car, along with kinda putting everyone on the same level and narrowing it down to skill.

Hey Urik, while watching your video good news for you plunged into my brain. Because we are a crew with such a variety THIS CREW IS AWESOME IN ACTING !!! You know: The Crew discussed that it wanted a Crew Video in 2015. I joined the crew at christmas 2015 and thought I could give it a try. I never made videos or something, but tried out the Rockstar Editor and finally made videos and started the Youtube-Channel. There is still a good Channel Video missing by the way XD
In case you found the video section already you see some requests to the crew for video recording events. People always say that they like taking part in these events because it is something different. Difficult is the discipline though, as you could see at the Car Meet. GTV8 means 30 seconds and police is at the place.
But there is also an inner circle for video making and we behave all very well if somebody explains us what to do to make his or her video.

grandpa4711I like the attitude and humor that you have in your videos. Quite often people just make some epic cinematic slow-mo but it gets boring. You also use a lot of wide angles, which I myself usually avoid, but you make it work for you. Bundled with "drunk" or "kabu" color effects you use it often makes me wish I did drugs. Quite pervy sometimes - it took me time to get used to tits & ass closeups flying in my face. I don't have time for anything extra atm, I know it sounds ridiculous but I have extra hard drives on shelves with footage I still haven't edited since 2015 when I started playing - that's how fucked up it is. But if you would really need a hand in something I'd come. I have two accounts which I can use at the same time and I can buy pretty much anything if needed. Personally I never really was into filming something staged myself as all I record actually happens online and then I just kinda find the story in it and dramatize on that.
