Hi, I'll hopefully join for a few races, name's Urik_Kane or RealUrik (depending on which account I'll be on).
I'd like to add some thoughts / observations, which are strictly my opinion of course.
16 races is indeed a lot. I've tried about first 5 races from the original post, and each one of those can easily take 10-15 minutes ( with lobby breaks).
Combined with the fact that these are all extremely demanding "puzzle/maze" type tracks with close to 100 checkpoints each, this will be quite exhausting to concentrate/endure.
During Rallye event, which lasted 15 races, around 15-20% of participants did take a break at some point, or leave sooner / join later ( just an observation).
I myself quit at race #11 cuz at that point my eyes felt like bleeding lol ( not in the least due to non-collision overdraw ).
That also brings up dilemma of hosting ( if host needs to take a break / go, there's no way to hand it over to specific player ). ( At the same time, I do understand splitting the playlist cancels the overall playlist rankings, and trying to keep track of that manually would be a nightmare ).
I did really enjoy the 6-race playlist you hosted recently. There were (two?) "maze" races, diluted by more "breather" straight line high speed ones, and I like the shift in dynamics it creates to relief the tension. It also had about 50/50 col/no-collision ratio.
At the same time I do perfectly understand the consistency and value in single themed playlist, where same vehicles are used throughout. Though I always enjoy more vehicle diversity because of visual specificity and narrative it provides (my experience comes from cruises where the more diverse it is, the better).
That being said, I also agree with Rushki, 8 races should also work well.
