oh well, my 30 day ban stands, but i still have no clue as to why, so i'm thinking about using a menu when i'm allowed back on (only to get all my stuff back) and at least if i get perma banned i'll know why.

It can be many things.
In-game transactions/events, patterns, balances and mismatches. Suspected interaction with other programs (mod-menus), such as overlay (steam, windows, FPS-counters etc), FiveM. Network traffic (in-game) Socialclub and P2P. Reports from other players. Presence in lobbies with suspicious behavior. Friends list.
Clearly R* has some kind of automated system that tries to detect suspicious behavior and automatically bans, and it's not known how it works, well other than it really doesn't.

But what annoys me the most is they wont tell players what got them banned, and i know they know what it is.
My son glitched me a outfit once but as far as i'm concerned i'm a fair player, apart from receiving modded money, which was pretty unavoidable before gunrunning.

this has got nothing to do with modders. something really wrong with R*s anti-cheat-program. looks like the ppl get unbanned by R* manually and they are detected and banned by this program again in no time.

scenic is right. its an automated program, part of the programm code of the game on each of our pc`s. this program bannes u automatically as soon as it detects something which is not allowed. as to some internet sources this anti-cheat-program has been updated with the last general update. to me its more than obvious that atm R* has no clue what triggers this anti-cheat-program and causes all these bans of innocent players. (see: unbanned players get banned again immediately)
as there are so many racers banned i got one suspicion: may it be overlays like Geforce Experience or MSI Afterburner (showing FPS on the screen) that trigger the anit-cheat-program ? who of the banned crew members used that kind of overlay ?

I dont use any overlay's, and the only software i've installed in the last 12 months is a couple of steam games, fortnite and new mouse software.
Another thing that concern's me is, will i get perma banned as soon as i'm next able to play online, i've read reports of this.
On a plus note, i've got 26 mill of shark cards waiting for me when i return, even tho i dont remember buying that much.

I read that everybody who used any cheat to get money, clothes or cars in the past got banned. Can you banned people confirm this?

I read that everybody who used any cheat to get money, clothes or cars in the past got banned. Can you banned people confirm this? Well if glitching a hat and mask together is ban worthy then i'm guilty. Also receiving modded money which is/was almost unavoidable, but that was removed twice by r* The main thing for me is they don't have the decency to tell me why i'm banned.

Yes, it is bad style to let people without informations. I received modded money too, and they removed it. I guess the hat and mask thing should be the problem. I will ask some players this evening if they ever glitched something - if not we know the reason. I personally never glitched something for example.

You only have to look at players in a lobby to see glitched clothing, so it cant be that. One of my boys has loads of glitched outfits.

if u receive money thru cheats, say moneydrops, u will not get banned, money is erased only. the message announcing this cash sweep also states that u dont get a ban for receiving cheated money. another story is the use of the ingame money glitches, f.e. doing a heist final only without the prep jobs. this seemed to be controlled by the money you make on jobs per day. if its way above the number which is possible with normal gaming, u get a ban. happened in the past with ppl glitching the bank heist
