Heyho, we discussed an idea for a crew video in the video section, which i would like to realize for our youtube-channel. It will be a Rockstar Editor only video, we will drive bikes and this is the background music. You for sure know the ingame version:
The main purpose of this video is
1. to have fun once again by creating a video together,
2. to show the crewmembers and their names one after another.
Therefor Lob and I made two tracks, we will record on both tracks.
If you run the video above you see a convoy of trucks building up and driving around, chased by police. I would like to replace this copchase by a sightseeing route through the island. The trucks are replaced by Choppers. Loberine begins driving at Sandy Shores. During the track more and more crew members join him and build up a Convoy. The Route leads over the Route 68 and some hill viewing to the best views over the City. We cruise through the city when we are complete, to see the main places and buildings. We end at the Del Perro Pier with a circle drive on the platform.
We will have to do 4 things mainly:
a) After the start we will first build our driving formation at Sandy Shores Airport. Everybody has to know his or her place in the convoy. We will practise driving closely in formation on the runway.
b) Then we place every player except Lob and me next to a checkpoint on the track. Everybody has to join the convoy when it passes near his personal checkpoint. Use P and your GPS to see the convoy coming.
Everybody who joins the Convoy should drive to the front once to say hello to Loberine (and to the camera which will mainly be in front). After saying hello (with a honk or so) you fall back to your place in the formation. Hold it more or less until the end.
c) It is extremly important that you all drive as closely together as possible. Dont let more than 5 meters come between you and your frontplayer. Try to drive with 2-4 bikes next to you, depending on how big the street is. Loberine, who is in front, will give the velocity to the convoy. It will be slow. But he cannot suck other drivers to his vehicle by driving slow, you have to come as close as possible by yourself.
Hope it will be nice and funny. I imagine that we should need an hour and a half if we drive each track two times.
