Hi,
in the last few weeks I was searching for some custom GTA V servers because sometimes I´m a bit bored of the "normal" GTA.
I found 3 Clients so far which you can use to connect to these custom servers:
GTANetwork: gtanet.work/
GT-MP(Grand Theft Multiplayer): gt-mp.net/
FiveM: fivem.net/
All 3 clients allow you to connect to these custom servers by downloading all required mods from the server during connection setup.
You can think of any scenario that can be established in the singleplayer.
There are enough mods available at www.gta5-mods.com/ and of course they can be combined too. (Some will not work well together).
Since you are on servers that are not from Rockstar, you should not be banned because you are online with Mods. I have GTANetwork and GT-MP installed so far and no problems.
I was relatively lucky and got into the project GTA Life at an early stage. gtalife.net/
It runs now in GT-MP.
This is a German role playing server and the makers have adapted the idea of Altis Life to GTA V.
You have to apply correctly and since 2-3 weeks you have to get hold of one of 30 places for an appointment exactly at 0 o'clock in the forum! I just had to do a "job interview" with subsequent test of the server rules.
Some Streamers play the Mod on Twitch(german):
Dizee (Siggi Lentes) twitch.tv/hc_dizee
thisEguy (Rüüd van de Montjes) twitch.tv/thiseguy
dieHahn (Pablos Nicos) twitch.tv/diehahn
John Gage - a cop twitch.tv/johngage
^^I had to remove the links. There is a Twitch-Plugin in the forum and it creates all 4 Streams at once!
In GTANetwork several servers simply have Freeroam Mode on - you can join immediately - and some with registrations. You can also start a server directly.
GTAZ I have tried also a few times. It´s a DayZ variant in GTA V.
I saw a streamer playing a trucker simulation in GTA V (with FiveM)!
On another server, a complete map of a racing circuit was simply placed on the original map. A nice fast mountain route. I've done this before in the singleplayer and online in GTA IV. But online, all the other players had to have the mod, otherwise they did not see anything like a map.
With these clients, everything goes without problems, beautiful thing.
Perhaps one of you will also find something interesting for you.
