GTV8 Sports Classics Event

Thanks to Nailfail, DerJofeli and Trejoo for this short photoshooting

It's springtime in San Andreas. The bikers have already prepared their machines for excursions and are only waiting for the weekend with sunshine. But what's with these nice Sports Classics Cars? They were still rusting in a damp shed. But since the gate has closed the last time, a lot has happened. Some new beauties bring the eyes of the locals of San Andreas to sparkle. So bring them to astonishment while a field of 30 racing enthusiasts rushes past them and snaking through the winding streets.

About the Vehicles and Rules
(thanks to Loberine, LordTorben and Crewmember for suggestions)

This is a Event for only Sports Classics with special guest from Grotti Turismo Classic and Pegassi Infernus Classic. Of course other Sports Classics are welcome too.
You must signup by POSTING ON THIS THREAD WITH YOUR IN GAME NICKNAME
GTV8 members only, so wear the crew tag if you are in this crew but your active crew is other
Your game must be locked to 60 fps to attempt make it more fair for everyone
Offroad tires are strictly forbidden
This Event is with Contact. Fair Play, if you spin out, ram or crash anyone you must allow him/others affected to overtake your position
We will start each race @15 seconds to avoid cp ghosting issues. Please remind me of that.

About the Tracks and Settings

I would suggest to create long races, about 8-10 Minutes
So we need long races, without too much laps to let the race interesting
Point to Point Races are welcome too
The track design should be with smooth fast corners, winding streets
Urban courses are ok too, but keep the course smooth and fast
Mixed tracks with urban and countrified course are welcome too. GOH and Dipping In are a good example.
This Event is with Contact. So keep this in mind when creating.
Try the primary and secondary CP's Feature from the Cunning Stunts Update
Avoid too much props for the course. Stunt Props are ok, but the most of the track should be on the original map. The less, the better! Vanilla Mode! Billboards/Tire Wall around the Track, hmmmm are ok. (For some Stunt-Creator Fans ),
We do this Race at the "Current" Time and "Current" Weather. So expect rain.

One week before the event April 22th, the tracks should be raceable/close ready! For some training and edit
The last is a surprise track in this playlist. A long special Point to Point course. No racing, just cruising and maybe Screens & Videos

The weather settings in the creator is just optional. So you can change this in the lobby again. Like the traffic or Wanted Level etc. Current is current, the weather comes from the Server-timing(script). If it rains in the freemode, it rains also in the race.

In regular races of course.

It won't rain even if you set it to raining on creator on a "Stunt Race", which had been removed from the weather settings, and it defaults to "clear" regardless.

@lob I'm worried about the starting grid. Are all vehicles on the road? It's a small grid, with 5 vehicles in a row, right? Could you pls make a screen from this in the creator? I'm worried, because we have contact and at the end of this straight, is a small road. A longer starting grid would be better, but there is no space behind, I know.

That particular version was made for non contact.

I have an unpublished version for contact, with a few smoothened sections and a small chicane section, hit me up when u see me online so we can test.
