Hi. I am aware that i am in a Racing Crew here. But i also get a lot of notes, that people in this crew like to play as an actor too. Also here at this place thank you very much for taking me like i am with my interests in the video editor, next to racing.
A project in 2017 i have in mind is a GTA-Montage of this Woodkid-Video below. It is called "Run Boy Run". I would like to ask you for your thoughts about how to realize this project. Perhaps you have ideas how to shoot all that stuff in Los Santos - of course i have my own ideas, but i want this as a crew action, for a crew video. "Run Boy Run" is nothing else than "Good Racing Club". So my personal interests as videograndpa and the interests of the crew could be synergized here maybe and i would have a lot of fun of course.

Waw. Honestly lots of inspiartion come to me by viewing this vidéo. (BTW thanks for the share, i didn't know this artist, very cool song) I actualy think we can totaly "parody" (ok counterfeit would more appropriate  ) in a crew cut context. All the materials are already here : the rythme, the music... Just remplace the boy by the lambda player looking for a racing crew, riding first alone within his car in B&W shades, beeing gradually joined by more and more gtv8 members, in more to more colorfull and dynamics plans, a bit like the video showcase... (sorry for hijacking your ideas lol) |

Hi Naud, thx for inspiration, yes, isnt that a wonderful video? And wonderful music too of course. My momentary ideas are 2: secondary to make a race video out of it, like your idea. There is one scene where the boy is captured by a monster to save him from other monsters - this monster who helps the boy could be a GTV8. Wait, it is at 1:15.
And all the scenes with the skycrapers can be done very well in Los Santos of course. Maybe the run near Sandy Shores, in the desert. Maybe jumps from the stones at the airport, or the monsters appearing there behind a stone. They could also come out of the water. And the monsters of course could be players with masks, there are many kinds of masks we could use. The rest will be editing work with filters.
You know my main-idea is to make this video as my first "Grandpa-Video". I am planning to do stories about Grandpa in the future. With lyrics, music - I try to make art and the Grandpa-Series are what i am personally aiming to. The Grandpa-Videos will include actual themes like fear (RunBoyRun), War, Terrorism, Polution of the environment, the madness with always quicker and more powerful cars etc. etc. And Love. And being aged. And other themes, step by step over the years.
So i did imagine that Grandpa could be "the boy" to introduce the main theme of Grandpa, that's You in a world of fear. I find this the momentary situation on earth, so...
btw: Woodkids songs are nice and the videos are awesome, don't miss them on youtube, its worth it. Great videoart, absolutely great.
btw2: thanks for the idea, i will try Woodkid for my Crew Cut Video, i guess that will be awesome. Let's see.

Made a little video to show what i mean, in low editing and quality though. Only the cutted scenes in black and white. Maybe i will use it as an event display in 2017, if people are interested, i put it on the GTV8 Channel for this case.
