A very good summary of the development of the remaining GTA 5 story DLC, who missed it. Damn, I miss the CVG Team and the videos with GTA 5 o'clock Speculation regarding GTA 5 single-player DLC has been a hot topic as of late, though truth be told it's been on players' minds since before the game was even announced. Sure there's plenty of things to see and do in the multiplayer mode GTA Online - heists, plane races, demolition derbies, explosive mayhem, even golfing.
But that's the problem with games like GTA 5 - when a game gives lets you do anything, you can't help but want everything, plus a little more. And for awhile, it seemed like that was what we were going to get.

I would love it if R* went the same way with GTA 5 as with 3. And yes, it would be great to keep the character and still have access to Los Santos while being able to switch to another place, but for R* it would likely be more profitable if everybody had to start from zero.

Rockstar did not think GTA5 single-player expansions were either possible or necessaryIt shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear confirmation Grand Theft Auto 5, a game released in 2013, will not get a single-player expansion, however disappointing that may be.
Now, though, and from what I can tell is for the first time, Rockstar has explained why GTA 5 ended up without a big story add-on.
In a Q&A with Game Informer, Rockstar director of design Imran Sarwar said the company didn't think single-player expansions for GTA5 "were either possible or necessary".Well, I can smell the stinking green $$$ notes. Ok finally, after the first words about a SP DLC in 2014, we have got the official definitive cancellation. It's very sad and it makes me very angry, because in 2014 Rockstar talked about a SP DLC and for now, they tell us, they didn't think GTA5 single-player expansions were either possible or necessary wtf happend realy? It's because Leslie Benzies left the studio? By the way, the Q&A from Game Informer is very long, but interesting.
