Today, I'm the owner of a G910 keyboard with RPG Lightning for 16 millions of colors. Ok, that was not the reason, I've bought this keyboard, but I always prefer lighted keyboards at night. It's a nice feature From beginning as a PC-Gamer, I owned a Standart Keyboard for 15-20 €, later with lightning. But there was always a problem, with multi keyboard inputs, for example the vehicle Donut-Drift or anything else. So I needed a PC-Gamer Keyboard.
A few minutes ago I started GTA5 in the Storymode. My lightning keyboard color is blue, dark blue. But as I played with Michael, the color changed to a brighter blue, baby blue, like Michaels color. I thought it's an issue, so I restarted the game, but with the same result. In the internet, I found this "issue" but thats a feature of GTA 5.
The lightning changes the color for each character after switching. Michael bright blue, Franklin got the green and for Trevor the orange color. But that's not at all. If you got a Wanted Level, the F1-F12 keys have a light show, between blue and red. Like on the PS4 Controller. Now I need the vibrations on the keyboard.
It's not perfect. For example, if you switch to Desktop you got your standart color, but after you're back in game, you got just the theme color which you set for the Game-Profile. The game need another instruction to change the character/wanted level lightning, like character switching, getting a Wanted Level or Dis/Enable the Lighting Feature in game. The Online Character has a dark orange lighting on the keyboard. And if you have a mix of colored zones on you keyboard, the game will overwrite all colors. For sure, it's like a disco on your keyboard. It's not a must have, but for me, it's a nice gimmick. For sure, you can disable this feature in the Gameoption/Keyboard-Mouse.
Here a Video from another GTA 5 player with this keyboard.
