heyho )
i am looking for 7 people to make a crew racing video. for a video it is important not to race but to stay near the camera and to show a good race with catching up and permanent overtaking. The driver who is in front should change frequently to let the end of the race open for the viewer.
The range of the camera is 50 metres around the filming car. So all the action of the race has to be 50 metres around my car. Otherwise i wont be able to choose every angle to make the best out of the scenes. For some scenes i have to be in the front of the field, for some in the middle and for some at the end. so i will change position often and u will have to make sure not to bump into me. the best video results can be achieved by making the video out of one single stream, so we have to do one really perfect race. at the end of the race i should be 30 metres behind the winner to be able to choose good angles to show the winner coming in.
Of course there should be some minor crashes with some scratches to have some light-effects and some emotions from the characters. and honking should be limited to those minor crashes, so i can leave the audio open for the video.
I imagine the track "Gemeindearbeit" (dont know the english name right now), but perhaps you have another idea. i want to do a video in the city with the skycrapers.
Who is interested??
greetings from Grandpa

Hey Grandpa, I'm with you I'm on holiday at home, so I have enough time, 21.5-29.5 not at home. You mean the track The First Corporation

I'd rather take a track with more than 2 corners, might look a bit boring. I suggest this one: Pretty wide, not too complex, with tunnels and banked curves, could even make a crash scene into the veggie shops. How ever, not matter which track, you can count me in for this one.

well it will need some time, because i want to practise the camera movements in car races a bit before we do some rounds. i took a video from a race last week and now i am trying to edit it. i must say a good racing video is much more difficult than the other things i did so far. i decide how to make a scene, do it like planned and when i see it it's pretty boring. Hm.
so give me a while.
ah, and i am banned until 26. :-)) so maybe the weekend 28./29. would be possible from my side. (there is a modification u know, for the editor which i would love to use, but i learned that i cant. xD)

Good to know. I was thinking about downloading a mod myself, just for singleplayer to toy around a bit, but it might not be worth it, especially not during Le Mans. ^^ For the scenes maybe watch some trailers from racing games as an inspiration?

Hi Ski, i read in the internet, that Rockstar allows the usage of mods which dont affect the online-game. the package that i downloaded included the trainer and a program called "scene director". it allows you to create new characters, clone them, bring them together in groups, e.g. to let them fight against each other. i tried it for an hour, its useful but you again have to learn how to use it effectively. Rockstar wrote me that they will tell me about the indicated files on my PC when the bann is over. i didnt expect to be banned because it only affects the offline mode... as far as i know. For ideas to make a good racing videos i already searched the internet. But i didnt find much, most of the players simply film themselfes gaming and thats uninteresting to watch. There are some really good racing scenes, but they are mostly made with the scene dircetor program or other forbidden little helping hands. But i think yesterday evening i found a way to deal with the editor. the problem is that the camera moves as quickly as the person who is filming. its hard to make stills then, to zoom in and out etc., because the cameracar and the other cars move so quickliy. i will show u the result of my momentary camera studies when the video is ready. While editing the video i am working on right now i learned, that we should do several rounds. Because i will have to bring the camera inte position at several marks on the track. a short and very easy track would be good for that for not to have so many marks. and i would like to have the skycrapers near by. Well and of couse we will have to do several rounds with me driving in the field, and u will have to wait for me because i am slow Grandpa, mates. ;-) Sunday evening i might be ready with my momentary tries. I cant upload to Rockstar Social Club right now because of the bann. So come back and watch it here please to give me tips and ideas. Until then you could have some fun with the off-topic-video below. www.youtube.com/channel/UCMnp0ay8hTZ1ME-DJKGzYMQ

OMG, you're banned? After using this mod for offline? Maybe this mode affect the online game too. However... Damn you Rockstar, the GTA Community lives from these Modes and Movies! We are waiting for you grandpa. I'm sorry.

I suggest this one: Pretty wide, not too complex, with tunnels and banked curves, could even make a crash scene into the veggie shops. How ever, not matter which track, you can count me in for this one. that's a good one for the next try. But i dont want to overrate me this time. u know if someone crashes into the veggie shops i might feel in love with the flying cucumbers. But the cameracar will drive on and it will not wait for my cucumber-love. And if i see a tunnel i would love to make it possible to feel the tunnel by the cameramovement like going through it like through a vagina. That's what a good video makes out of a tunnel, you know. But if i feel like going through a vagina i might loose control over the camerasettings. So at that video better only 7 cars, not so many corners, boring background, but reflected sun, and please please no cucumbers. Tunnels can't be avoided, maybe. Apart from that i simply need the Grandma-Version . This time. Next time Lolita-Flyby, promised.

What would u prefer concerning the outfits? All the same clothes, e.g. suits for the gala and white gloves? Or all individual clothes? Or even masks? What would u prefer for a GTV8 Racing Video?
The cars all with GTV8 logos of course. Which type of car would you prefer? i think in the city we could take quick cars, supers or sports, because there are no cucumbers at the roadside to film. the more details at the roadside the slower the cars should be i think.

I believe we should wait for R* to fix the logo issue first.

I believe we should wait for R* to fix the logo issue first. Yeah, the bugged version looks pretty rubish on the cars and cloths. ... but Rockstar and fixes... just saying. Also: But if i feel like going through a vagina i might loose control over the camerasettings. Well, I thought we would be doing this on dry conditions.
