FFS! i still not able to post pics. I knew i should buy the handbook "how to post pics in crew forums for newbies" at christmas Maybe u can take the easy way? Create folder in google drive or Mircrosoft OneDrive (or other) and share the Link to the folder. So we can watch the pics (but not direct in your post). Looks so: drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B7AFamSQlAPERmkzdTYybU8yTmM&usp=sharing

Wow, these screens are...looks like polished Screens official from Rockstar Thats not just a screen right? They are from your Videocapture? Thats more than MSAA right? Next time, no *.bmp for Internet pls. 8MB per Screen holy moly *jpg is better

But the biggest difference in this style of racing comes from the handling files. The "fTractionLossMult" stat, otherwise known as Off-Road Grip Loss, for these cars is: Sultan - 1 | Kuruma - 0 | Armored Kuruma - 0 That means when these cars go off-road, the Sultan behaves normally under GTA physics, but the Kurumas both treat dirt the same as pavement. That "factor" is the big problem and where I think R* didn't put sensible numbers in. As far as I understand these values there is the base grip (about 2.4 for each) and the mentioned value is substracted from that when the car goes offroad. This results in lower acceleration and lower top speed. Although I feel the Kuruma still being slightly slower offroad than onroad so I guess this isn't the only influence. As both the Sultan and Kuruma are 4wd and based on real cars with a long rally history it would make sense that they handle offroad better than the other sports cars, but simply setting the value to 0 for the Kuruma seems lazy. Would have gone with something between 0.3 and 0.5 (giving the Kuruma a slightly better value to balance the onroad disadvantage). Also I've been trying to make one track that balances both cars. It's placed at the observatory, still a work in progress, but right now the Sultan has a lead of about 6 seconds per lap that I can't deliver with the Kuruma.

i didn't know about that traction thing but i clearly noticed something wrong when i ridiculously passed silverarrow's sultan on a dirt straight line :/ You won't like it but for true fairness it would be better set the race locked to stock sultan or kuruma ? Rush : Sorry for the pics huge size, i didn't payed enough attention for that. About the photos i've just maxed out the graphics (msaa*8) the time of the shot. I records ingame action replay clips and then play with them in rockstar editor, messing with depth of field, FOV, cameras... and voila, everyone can do it

The problem wouldn't go away with stock cars, everything would just be slightly slower overall. I hope you find a way to repost the photos, I really like them and don't mind the short loading time.

As there seems to be quite some demand how about repeating the whole event this saturday at the same time? I'm thinking about maybe changing the class though, opinions welcome. Tracks should be the same except for maybe one.

Also we could have one or two races with the Sultan RS or the Kurumas. If we get another class fit for offroad, we ight as well have 2 races per class and mix it up. ^^

Didn't even think about SUVs. Not so sure if everybody has a Sadler, though. But to solve that, we might just use GTA-Mode and copy cars if needed. Trackname: Laps before: Referential time: Class this time: Laps now: Rallycross Endurance 3 laps 3:45 Offroad 3 Alternative Rally 4 laps 2:55 Utility 3 Rallycross on the GOH 4 laps 3:00 Classics 4 Union Grain RX 3 laps 3:25 Sultan RS 3 Senora Desert RX 7 laps 1:40 Sultan RS 7 Rally Cross X2 4 laps 3:05 Offroad 4 Harmony Rallycross 3 laps 4:10 Classics 3 Tongva Valley Rallycross 5 laps 2:30 Kuruma/Sultan 5 Vespucci Rallycross 5laps 2:25 Kuruma/Sultan 5 Humane Grape Rallycross 3 laps 3:25 SUV 2 I think this should work quite well. I'll swap around some tracks so we don't have the same class twice in a row.
