If you take a closer look at the sports class, especially at Broughy's laptimes, you might notice that there are a few cars at the top and many cars behind them that aren't quite fast enough under normal circumstances, but are pretty competetive with each other. So in this event following cars are not allowed:
The Elegy, Feltzer and both versions of the Jester and Massacro
The way this will be raced depends on your feedback (please fill in the poll, one answer for the amount of races, one for contact, non-contact and pits). After the Banshee-Event we do have quite a number of tracks that are fit for contact races with pit stops, I would pick some tracks from the longer playlist so we don't drive just all the same tracks again (depends on how many races we will have). New track suggestions also are welcome.  I can't say for sure when this event will happen yet, I aim for a saturday evening as usual. Also I'd like to point out that this time around there aren't any plans for a difficult starting procedures like in the Banshee event. This also means everyone needs a car that fits the format (fully tuned up). Also maybe someone else might be hosting the event this time around, as last time there were people unable to join. I hope I got most of the information in this. If there are any questions or suggestions, please let me know.

I filled the poll having in mind a 20+- player event, i can host the event if it is going to be not later than the 18th of April, i will be abroad for around 3 months.

I don't think the number of players has that much of an impact, even if we drive with contact on. In the Banshee event we had about 15 players max and it went very well.
I was thinking about doing the event on the 2nd, but with the tendency of the poll to such many races right now that would be pushing it quite a bit. 9th seems more realistic, but the week before that will be busy for me.

I also do like pit stops in longer races. But in races with not so many laps there isn't much tactic to it.
But I generally don't see a problem with racing in GTA-Mode just to have the pits functional (because respawning in contact is kind of a problem). Last event it also went quite well (apart from one incident).
Maybe next time I'll put an emphasis on endurance, but this time it is open to vote for.

Didn't get anything done this week, was very busy. Also for me the game runs like a** recently.
On the chance it gets better I announce the event date for Saturday, the 16th of April.
As the poll is 50/50 on whether or not to drive with contact I am thinking about splitting it up so half the races are non-contact on smaller tracks and half of them have contact enables on tracks that are fit for that. Not sure though if we should alternate between both modes or have 2 playlists, one for each. That would allow for a short break in the middle. Also would really like some more GTV8-tracks, especially for the non-contact part.

I was considering to start with non-contact, but it might be better this way, because then errors aren't that critical later on without contact.
