GTV8 Offroad Event

The hot summer days are over, the autumn is coming closer. Time to explore the country side from San Andreas before it's getting a cold winter. No excuse, because it's too hot or to sunny. Get out into natur!

About the Tracks and Settings

I would suggest to create long races, about 10 Minutes
So we need long races, without many laps to let the race interesting
Point to Point Races are welcome too
The Track design should be much more Offroad/Dirt Paths and Roads. Avoid too much asphalt.
Keep the course hard but fast as possible. No Hardcore Offroad please!
Jumps/Shortcuts are welcome
Try the primary and secondary CP's Feature from the Cunning Stunts Update
Avoid too much props for the course. We are in the nature and need no help in the course. The less, the better! Billboards/Tire Wall around the Track, hmmmm are ok. (For some Stunt-Creator Fans ),
Offroad Races are often very tight or with small dirt roads. The players are not the opponents, but rather the Offroad Track. Overtaking with contact is extremly dangerous for the racers. So I suggest to do this Event with "Non Contact". Later this year we could create an Adventure Offroad Event with Contact. No Racing, but cruising through the natur. Result doesn't matter. Let's discuss!
We do this Race at the "Morning" Time and "Current" Weather. So expect rain. Unfortunately we still have no evening for selection.
One week before the event October 15th, the tracks should be raceable/close ready! For some training and edit

About the Vehicles

2 wheels vehicles are to easy for offroad. So no Sanchez and BF400 please!
All other vehicles in the offroad class are welcome
Questions for a good offroad vehicle? Use this Thread

Be sure, you have a 4(6)-wheels Offroad vehicle for this Event. Bikes (2 wheels) like Sanchez and BF400 are not allowed!

How many Tracks we need?

8-10 Tracks will be enough for this Event. It would be a very long evening.

So for any interest or questions to create and track suggestions, use this Thread here please. Don't forget to post the required laps.

Well, for this kind of event my Rallye de Blaine comes to my mind. It is a 10+ minutes point-to-point rallye stage, but it is designed for the rally cars in the sports class. Might be a nightmare in trophy trucks as they are easier to roll over.

not sure about the length requirement, though. i never checked laptimes on my tracks (most are point to point anyway^^). CC 5 is a lap race, but one lap alone usually takes over 15 mins already.. lol

CC V is realy hard for an Offroad Race, it's more like a Trial Offroad Race. Luckily we have non contact, so yeah it's in the playlist with 2 Laps. 5:30-6Min per Lap.

CC VIII is more like an Offroad Race with a funny idea at the end, it's in the playlist. 6:30-7Min. The CC Races could be a chance for not so fast guys.

oh, didn't realize you were looking for more of a offroad race style. you're right, most of the tracks are more trial or crawling style.
but why not have some variety maybe.. ^^

hmmm, i think the first 3 should be the most non hardcore ones.
on CC I there is only one or two spot that is a bit difficult for non offroad vehicles.
II is nice too, but has a troll spot near the end (the bus).. maybe i'll remove it, because it annoys me everytime i do that track xD.
CC III also is rather mild.

all the other ones all have at least one or more spots that are "difficult"

It's a real funny route, the little jumps makes this race difficult to keep the vehicle in control. You have to drive carefully. So yeah, it's in the Event.

First I was a little bit worried about the Social Club Trackmap with so many Stuntprops, but it's just the Design next to the track and the orange tubes are ok.

The Startgrip is a little bit strange. It's not the direct route to the next CP. Driver on the right side have advantages compared to those who start left. And the secondary route confused me at the first time. The access is hard to find, in the 2nd lap I saw the arrows. Maybe you could add a primary and a secondary CP in that corner.

Sure we could just allowed the stock vehicles. But the creator has to lock his track for 4 wheels vehicles too. And we want to drive with our costum 4 wheels Offroadvehicles, so we have to/should trust in each other. I believe in this Crew.

I added the already suggested tracks in the first Thread. But we need more - max 10. So if someone is interested.

For the start, you start on the right or left since you do it alone, but I centered it to the 1st CP
I'll try to correct it maybe by reducing the number of available contestants.

I started on the left side. You could try this with the small startgrip for Offroad vehicles (middle) you know this trick? Or change the starting grip to another location.

30 Players would be better for an Event.

You set it to small, then save the job and edit the gridsize in the top menu, where you can also change daytime. Then you go into the available cars/classes and reselect the other classes again.
